The office is open Monday to Saturday (6 days a week). Monday through Friday the office is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Saturday the office hours are from 9:00am to 1:00 pm.

Storage units are accessible from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm everyday. This is everyday of the week including holidays.

No, we do not keep a key to your storage unit.

No. Food and perishable items are strictly prohibited from being stored.

No, we do not charge a security deposit.

Yes, every unit should be secured/locked. We require disc style locks on all units as they are the most secure for self storage versus the old fashion U-shaped padlock. The disc style locks can be purchased in our office or at any local retailer. The disc style locks help deter criminal intent and the security and safety of the facility is important and we try to use best practices.

We are an authorized Uhaul Truck and Trailer dealer. We are happy to assist with reserving a truck or a trailer. Please give us a call or stop by and we are happy to help find the right size of truck or trailer to make the move easier.

We accept on-line payments, over the phone, in-person, via mail, or we can set-up no hassle automatic monthly payments.

Yes, Storage Depot of Shelbyville office has a variety of standard boxes, specialty boxes for TVs/etc, protective supplies for mattresses, packing supplies such as bubble wrap, tape, etc.

No, you do not have to purchase a disc style lock from us. You can bring your own disc style lock. We do require a disc style lock that helps deter criminal activity and we do require all units to be secured/lock.

Yes, we offer affordable tenant property insurance if you do not have coverage. We offer SafeStor coverage that starts as low as $ 8.95/month.

Climate controlled or temperature controlled self storage limits the huge temperature range your personal property goes through. For example, in the Tennessee summers a temperature controlled storage unit will not experience the high heat and high humidity of a traditional self storage unit. The building is air conditioned so it does not experience the high temperatures which is more protective for some items such as wood furniture, photos, electronics, etc. In the winter months the building does not freeze which would be better also for electronics.
